Peanut butter yogurt dip

Kids love to dip basically any food into something. I always find it amazing the things I can get my kids to eat if they can dip it. The problem is most "dips" are not healthy, in fact they are the opposite of healthy and full of processed ingredients and sugar. This dip is easy to whip up and healthy too!

Peanut butter is a great source of protein but it can be high in calories. 2 Tablespoons of natural peanut butter is 200 calories. It order to offset that a little bit I mix 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter with 1 Tablespoon plain yogurt. The plain whole milk yogurt I buy has 10 calories per Tablespoon. For 2 tablespoons of dip we went from 200 calories to 110 plus added in some calcium - bonus!!

This dip can be spread on whole wheat crackers or used to dip apple slices, pear slices, celery sticks, carrot sticks, strawberries, bananas, the list goes on. The creaminess of the peanut butter and the tangy plain yogurt make it perfect for fruit or veggies.
